River Ridge East Birth Centre (Hamilton) is a primary birthing facility for women having a low risk birth and/or postnatal stay, including postnatal transfer from Waikato Women's Hospital.
Women who choose to stay at River Ridge East Birth Centre can enjoy a relaxing stay and get to know their baby in a homey environment that is both welcoming and comfortable.
Use of the facility is free for women who are NZ residents or meet the Ministry of Health eligibility criteria. River Ridge East Birth Centre is staffed by experienced midwives and support staff 24 hours a day to ensure excellent maternity care for you and your new baby.
A Women–Centred Maternity Service

Tours of River Ridge East are held in the evenings at 6pm and 6.30pm every first and third Tuesday.
